Buddhist Tour takes you to the major Buddhist pilgrimages in Kathmandu and Lumbini which is the birth place of Lord Buddha. In this pilgrim tour we will be travel and tour in Kathmandu valley, where we will visit Swoyambhunath stupa which was built 2000 years ago. Another attraction of this Nepal pilgrim travel is a visit to 1500 year old Bouddhanath the world's biggest stupa. It is a pilgrimage site for Tibetan refugees who are living in the valley. While in the valley we will also visit the historic city of Patan. This place is has Buddhists heritage sites in large number and has touring sites like the Mahabouddha Temple and Hiranya Varna Mahavihar to show.
We will also be visiting the stupa of Namobuddha which is situated on the outskirts of Kathmandu valley. It is small and old but active and highly revered as pilgrims from around the world visit the site when they come for Nepal travel and tour. We will be visiting Lumbini, the birth place of Buddha. It is in the south-west of Kathmandu and we can drive or fly to reach there. It is a site of historical and religious importance and is a place not to miss during travelling to Nepal.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
This day you will land at Tribhuvan International Airport and our staffs at OLGA Travels & Tours will receive you from the airport and transfer to Hotel. After getting some refreshment we will be heading towards Patan which is home to many famous sites and unique architecture. Here you will be visiting Mahaboudha also known as Mahabodhi Mandap Vihara and Hiranya Varna Mahavihar. Also you will be seeing the Patan Durbar Square which hosts many temples and palaces of historical and cultural significance. Stay overnight in hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley with Swayambhu Nath Stupa, Boudha Stupa & Kapan Monastry
After having breakfast we will take you to Buddhist places around Kathmandu. We will begin our Nepal tour for Buddhist package on this day by visiting Swayambhunath Stupa also known as the monkey temple. You can reach to the bottom of the stupa directly by a vehicle or if you are in for a walk we can take steep inclined steps that start from the bottom of the hill to the top. After visiting there you will be heading towards Boudhanath stupa in another part of the Kathmandu valley which is famous for its size and its cultural importance among the Tibetan Buddhists. Then we will visit the Kapan Monastry which hosts two of Kathmandu’s most significant monastery in its premises. Stay overnight in hotel.
Day 03: Drive to Dhulikhel – Namobuddha - Dhulikhel visiting ancient monastery and back to Kathmandu
On the third day of Buddhist tour we will travel to Dhulikhel which is about 1 hour drive from Kathmandu. We will head towards Namobuddha which is another 1 hour drive from Dhulikhel. Namobuddha hosts as a place where many Buddhist monks are present and Buddhist studies are taught there. Stay overnight in hotel.
Day 04: Sightseeing in Bhaktapur City and then drive to Kathmandu
The next day we will be sightseeing in the Beautiful city of Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur Durbar Square and the Taumadi square are the place to see here. We would recommend that you try the famous Bhaktapur king curd when you are in the place. After we finish our tour in Bhaktapur we will return back to Kathmandu. Take a good rest as we will be travelling to Lumbini the next day. Stay overnight in hotel.
Day 05: Drive to Lumbini (Birth Place of Lord Buddha)
On this day we will ride towards Lumbini, the birth place of Buddha. During the journey you can see the elevation of the place change from hills to the plain side. You will also get a chance to see the diversity of people living in Nepal. We will stop for snacks and lunch on our way to Lumbini. Stay overnight in hotel.
Day 06: Sightseeing in Lumbini
On the sixth day of the tour we will take a whole day to visit the famous site of Lumbini. Here there are various monastery and temples that are dedicated to Buddha. Also you can find ancient inscriptions that will tell you about the life and journey of Buddha. You can also visit the Ashoka pillar during the tour. The experience on this day will enlighten you and you can take a lot of cultural knowledge about the birth and propagation of Buddhist. Stay overnight in hotel.
Day 07: Drive to Kathmandu
Accomplishing the Buddhist Tour you will drive back to Kathmandu enjoying the peasant views from the windows. Arriving in Kathmandu you will move into the hotel and take some rest. In the evening you will enjoy in the cultural program and farewell dinner. This is the last night of tour so you will pack your baggage. Stay overnight in hotel.
Day 08: Departure!!!!
This will be your last day of the Buddhist tour. You will be departing to your next destination via TIA, Kathmandu.
