This 15-Day Everest Base Camp trek journey starts with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. From Lukla we will begin the actual trek to the Everest Base Camp region. The trekking route will pass through villages that are culturally rich which includes Khumgjung, Phakding and Namche Bazaar. You will also be walking along the Sagarmatha National Park where you can observe different birds and animals along with Rhododendron forests and glaciers. During the trek we will cross many suspension bridges take a visit to Tengboche monastery before reaching the Everest base camp of Mt. Everest then another trek to Kala Patthar.
The best season to plan this trek that takes you to the altitude of 5,550m and some days require a 6-8 hour walking is from September to December and March to May when you will be guided by the experts of the industry. You will also get a chance to be one with nature and the experience of capturing beautiful Rhododendron forest, stunning landscape along the foothills, the mighty glaciers, many species of birds and animals and the view of sunrise from Kala Patthar. Alongside this you will also be able to gain knowledge about the lifestyle and culture of Sherpas. Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)
You will be welcomed at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) by our representative and you will be checked into the hotel. We will catch up later that day or the next day to brief you about the trekking details where we will also introduce to your Sherpas and guides. We will arrange a welcome dinner and you can enjoy the taste of Nepal along with traditional music and cultural dance. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley sightseeing and trek preparation (1,300m/4,264ft)
On the second day we will be going for Kathmandu valley sightseeing. During this tour we will visit UNESCO heritage sites in Kathmandu including the Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square, Pashupatinath temple, Bouddhanath and Swayambhunath stupa. On this day you will get a chance to explore the ancient arts, crafts and architecture of Nepal. During the evening we will meet to finalize your trekking gears (trekking boots, sleeping bag and down jacket). Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2,652m/ 8,700ft) 35 minutes flight and 4 hours walk
We will take a private vehicle to the airport early morning for a flight to Lukla which is 35 minutes journey. After we land at the Tenzing-Hillary Airport at Lukla (2,800m) we will have breakfast at a lodge and a small introduction session with other crew members will also take place. We will then begin our trek to Phakding which is a 4 hours walk. The trekking trail bestows you with an experience of a downhill walk plus flat trail alongside prayer rocks and the mesmerizing view of the Lukla village. Once in Phakding freshen up and you can take a hike with your guides to the local monasteries and nearby villages. Overnight stay at lodge.

Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11,283ft) 5-6 hours walk
On day four, we will head towards Monju early morning after having our breakfasts. Monju is the entry point to the Sagarmatha National Park. You will get to experience first-hand the thrill of walking in the suspension bridges and passing through small villages including Benkar, Zapute, Chumoa, Toktok, and Monju will bring you closer to the living style of the local people here. Small tea houses along the way adds another aspect to the trek. You can enjoy the scenic beauties around here while National park entry formalities will be taken care of by the team leaders. The journey at national park begins with steep trail down to the river and after crossing the Hillary Bridge at the bottom of the hill you will have to hike uphill to the get to Namche Bazaar which offers you a first great view of Mt. Everest. Overnight stay at a lodge.

Day 05: Acclimatize day
This day you will get to acclimatize yourself at the Namche Bazaar. This is a day when you can rest but for better acclimatization we recommend you keep moving in the area and hence we will organise a hike to the old Sherpa village of Thame or visiting other villages including Khunde, Khumjung or Khongde as per your choice. While in Namche Bazaar you can also take a tour at the Museum, and visit monasteries that are in the area. Overnight stay at a lodge.

Day 06: Trek to Tengboche (3,867m/1,268ft)5 hours walk
On the sixth day of our trek we will head towards Tengboche which is about five hours of walk from Namche bazaar. The trail will move ahead along the Dudh Koshi glacial waters and will offer you with magnificent views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse and also Mt. Amadblam. You will be hiking across a vast Rhododendron forest which will give you a chance to spot various flora and fauna and wild life including multi-colored pheasants, musk deer and Himalayan Thar, before reaching Sanasa. We will then visit the Tengboche monastery taking a steep ascent. Overnight stay at a lodge.

Day 07: Trek to Dingboche (4,358m/14,295ft)5-6 hours walk
On this day we will take out breakfast and take a half an hour trek downhill which will lead towards riverside followed by hiking through forest the an uphill climb to reach Pangboche which is at an altitude of 3,860m. Pangboche offers you a spectacular view of Chorten and Mani walls. After a brief rest here we will ascend towards Pheriche from where it is a moderate hike to Imja Valley. From Imja Valley we will embark on the steepest trek to reach Dingboche. Overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 08: Acclimatize day
At Dingboche we will spend a day to acclimatize ourselves ahead of our journey towards Everest Base Camp. Dingboche offers you with a marvelous view of Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dablam and among other peaks. On this day you can also spend your time by the Imja Riverside or take a area tour alongside the stone walls that is spread across the Imja valley. Overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 09: Trek to Lobuche (4,928m/16,164ft)5 hours walk
On day nine we will gear up to head towards Lobuche after having our breakfast early morning for a five hour walk. We will first reach Dughla via Khumbu Khola valley before heading towards Dusa and Phulong Karpo. Along the trekking trail you can enjoy the scenic view of majestic Mt Pumori and beautiful Chola Lake alongside it. After taking a turn away from the stream we will reach Dughla from where we will ascend up the sheer pathway of the Khumbu Glacier. You will get the view of peaks like Mahalangur Himal, Pumori, Lingtren and Khumbutse. We will reach Lobuche, the destination of the day, after crossing Khumbu Glacier. Overnight stay at lodge.

Day 10: Trek to Gorak Shep-Everest Base Camp-Gorak Shep (5,320m/17,450ft) / (5,160m/16,929ft Gorekshep)7-8 hours walk
We start this days trek early morning and head towards Gorak Shep after a breakfast. This is the day when you will reach Everest Base Camp. After reaching Gorak Shep, we will check into a lodge take our lunch and head towards Everest Base Camp. Along the way you will get a chance to see the north ridge of Mt. Everest along with Mt. Khumbutse, Mt. Lingtern, Mt. Mahalangur, Mt. Nuptse and Mt. Pumori. A ascend towards a little higer ground and you will be able to see a all round view of the mighty Himalaya. We will continue uphill alongside Changri Glacier and take a quick view of Kala Pattar then finally reaching to your destination Everest Base Camp. Later on we will return back to Gorekshep. Overnight stay at lodge.

Day 11: Hike to Kala Pattar-Pheriche (5,550m/18,204ft Kala Pattar) / (4,358m/ 14,295ft Pheriche)7-8 hours
The major activity of day eleven is to view the sunrise in the Himalayas and for that we have to begin our journey early. After a few hours of walk, we will reach Kala Pattar located at 5,545m, offering you exciting view of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam and Pumori. Enjoy the golden mountains as the sun sheds its rays across the face of the gigantic mountains. You can take pictures before we hike back to Gorak Shep. We will have breakfast here and trek back to Pheriche. Overnight stay at lodge.

Day 12: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft)7-8 hours
On day 12 we will begin our journey from Pheriche after breakfast to Namche Bazaar. We will be trekking to Pangboche village and after there to Tengboche crossing the bridge over Imja Khola. From Tengboche we will take a steep downhill hike alongside the Dudh Koshi River. Along the trek will will pass Tashinga and Sanasa village and reach Kyangjuma. The route from here is an easy one until you reach Namche Bazaar. Overnight stay at lodge.

Day 13: Trek to Lukla (2,652m/8,700ft) 7-8 hours
From Namche bazaar we will take a 7-8 hours hike to Lukla crossing a bridge across the Dudh Koshi River. We will move ahead in our journey towards Monju where we will complete the official works at the Sagarmatha National park check post and head towards Phakding where we will stop for a lunch and head back towards Lukla alongside rhododendron and pine forest, prayer stones, Sherpa village and prayer flags among other things. Overnight stay at lodge.

Day 14: Fly to Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)35 minutes scenic flight
We will bid farewell to the Khumbu region on this day. We will board a flight to Kathmandu from Lukla. After a 35 minutes flight you will reach TIA and our representative will be waiting for you with a private vehicle and take you to your hotel. We will meet for a farewell dinner this day and enjoy our meal with cultural program and music and relax the last night of out trek. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 15: Departure day
This is the last day of your trip. We will drop you at the TIA in a private car. Then you will be heading towards your next destination.
